Article Summary

If you use Home Care Pulse, you can export data from Generations to import into their system for reporting. You use Report Writer to extract data, and you may also be able to use our API. Find Report Writer under the Reports list at the top of the Home Screen. There is detailed information on how to work with Report Writer in the Report Writer article. 

Client Data

  • Select report source of Client Contact and click Display Report.

  • Put a checkmark in All Records and make sure the status is set to Active clients only.

  • Click Column Chooser and put a checkmark next to the following fields:

    • First name

    • Last Name

    • Phone 1

    • Phone 2

    • Contact

    • Contact business phone

    • Contact phone

    • Service Start Date

    • Service End Date

  • Click OK and the data displays.

    • Click Save Report. Name the report HCP clients and click OK.

    • Click Export to save the data as an Excel file. Be sure to open the Excel file and click File > Save As, and save the file as .CSV.

  • For subsequent months, click Load Report and select HCP Clients.

Caregiver Data

  • Select report source of Caregivers and click Display Report.

  • Put a checkmark in All Records and make sure the status is set to Active caregivers only.

  • Click Column Chooser and put a checkmark next to the following fields:

    • First name

    • Last Name

    • Phone 1

    • Phone 2

    • Hire Date

    • Termination Date

  • Click OK and the data displays.

    • Click Save Report. Name the report HCP Caregivers and click OK.

    • Click Export to save the data as an Excel file. Be sure to open the Excel file and click File > Save As, and save the file as .CSV.

  • For subsequent months, click Load Report and select HCP Caregivers.
