Article Summary

Office staff, Clients, client Contacts, and Caregivers can all access Generations via the app or mobile website. Function is relatively interchangeable; however, the access method is different:

  • The app is a small program installed on your mobile device.
  • The mobile website is at https://mobile.idb-sys.com
    • If you use a mobile device to access the main website (https://generations.idb-sys.com,) you are asked if you would like to be redirected to the mobile website because the mobile website is good for smaller screens of mobile devices.
    • It can also be used for things like caregiver training because you can show most aspects of the app.

Regardless of whether you are using the mobile website or app, log in with your Agency ID, email address, and password. Both mobile website and app follow security rules established in Company Settings Security and Web Portal.

My office isn't going to use EVV, can we still use the mobile website and app?

While it's rare that an agency would not use Generations EVV, you definitely can still use the mobile website and app.

  • Office staff can establish GPS location for clients, add clients and caregivers, see and update schedules, and more. Learn about some common uses.
  • Caregivers can see their schedules, read and respond messages in the Message Center, view Reminders, see their Badge, view Available Shifts, do Care and Wound Notes, do Mapping, add a Visit Note, view Shared Documents, and more.
  • Clients and contacts of the Client can see their schedules, see a picture of the caregiver, see the plan of care (if you've allowed that,) and view Shared Documents.
